Outreach Worker, Part Time

BASIC FUNCTION: The Outreach Worker will support the Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT-PDOA) direct service staff. They will locate potential referral sources; prepare, meet, and present MAT-PDOA goals and objectives to outside providers; administer the DAST and the ED-BNI to potential clients; and coordinate Peer Specialists. They will also organize available follow-up/contact information and schedule three and six-month follow-up and discharge interviews, dependent on both clients’ availability and the Outreach Worker’s appointment schedule. They will also be trained to conduct initial screening of incoming clients and assist Peer Specialists. They will be able to administer the GPRA at the three appropriate junctures; as well as the MAT-PDOA Screening Form, the PTSD Screening, and MMMHS. They will work primarily in the field. They will evidence a high level of empathy for the variety of issues presented by the MAT-PDOA population and will be a self-starter able to work with a high degree of autonomy. The MAT-PDOA Outreach Worker will work 100% of their time on the MAT-PDOA and will report to the MAT-PDOA Program Coordinator and/or MAT-PDOA Evaluator.


  • Develop referral sources and sites in the community
  • Administer GPRA and local assessment instruments
  • Deliver the ED-BNI EBP
  • Previous Outreach/Tracking experience
  • At least two years’ experience delivering services to those who are chemically dependent; particularly OUD

SCHEDULE: Part Time, 17.5 hours per week; must be available for afternoon/evening shift
