IT Project Manager

Lower Eastside Service Center (LESC) Behavioral Health Care Collaborative (BHCC): LESC BHCC is a collaboration of member agencies serving clients throughout NYC with substance use disorders (SUD), mental health and medical needs that have joined together to create a clinically integrated health care network to improve outcomes, manage costs and demonstrate value to the health care system.

Overall Responsibilities:

The IT Project Manager will have primary responsibility for managing and monitoring the implementation of a Patient Care Coordination and Data Analytics Platform by an IT vendor that will enable the LESC Behavioral Health Care Collaborative 20 plus member agencies to track, monitor and share patient-related health records and evaluate data for their populations served under Medicaid.

Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, the IT Project Manager will serve as the primary liaison with the IT vendor and BHCC agency IT implementation teams during planning, installation, testing, go-live and post-implementation phases.  

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for assuring that the implementation of the IT platform is fully achieved and that all data analytics and metrics are functioning within agreed time frames.

QUALIFICATION - EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelorís Degree, minimum, in Computer Science
  • Project Management Certified PMP
  • Effective communication skills and making presentations
  • 5+ year experience as an IT professional in the Health field
  • In-depth knowledge of current technology, Windows/Linux environment, network solutions, network security, and user endpoints, databases (e.g. Tableau, BI)
  • Familiarity with electronic health record software and use
  • Able to communicate and document technical concepts, diagrams, and instructions.
  • Local travel required.
SCHEDULE: Full time, Monday-Friday 35 hours per week
